Avon Tyrrell – The Last Morning

Avon Tyrrell – The Last Morning

Friday – our last day.

After an easy tidy-up of the lodges, and yet another yummy cooked breakfast, we all headed off to do a Nature Walk of part of the site with one of the instructors, Ben.
He showed us various trees, plants, and wildlife, and even got the children hugging trees and eating nettles! It was just the right activity for the final day, as it kept the children entertained and learning, whilst not having to think too hard to be too physical… The late nights were catching up with them!
Although we all had a fantastic trip, we were relived to see Mr Roberts appear in the minibus, and round us all up.
The children are wet, tired, and have over-eaten, but are filled with so much pride in themselves and fantastic memories. It has been a fantastic trip, and Mrs Opalka and Miss Adcock would like to offer a huge thank you to Mandy and Lorraine who have looked after us all.
