Despite the awful weather we had leading up to the event in November, we were very lucky on the day and the rain stopped. Thanks to a very supportive farmer allowing us to use his field, a professional from the village and his team setting the fireworks off and a considerable amount of hard work from the Team, the evening has become a popular event.
As well as the traditional bonfire and fireworks, this year we had a children’s disco and a live band which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The bar and BBQ was very popular, along with the candy floss and flashing wands. The evening was a huge success, raising an incredible £2,479.22.
