Even though we had already moved into our new building in January we officially opened our new school on March the 10th.
As our invited guests arrived, a team of year 6 children acted as tour guides to show off our new school. The general thought and comments were ‘wow, what an amazing learning environment and fabulous building’.

I have been a deputy head for the past 10 years at Southill Primary School in Weymouth and I am very excited to be taking up my first headship at Bere Regis Primary School.
19th December 2015
Last term saw the retirement of Steve Battishill, our Headteacher for over twenty-five years. There were a number of events to mark this very special occasion, including an evening presentation from the current Governing Body, former governors and former staff. Steve was presented with a beautiful painted glass sculpture of the school emblem - the phoenix rising from the ashes.
