Welcome to Year 3 & 4

Welcome to Kimmeridge class

Our Kimmeridge class teacher is Mrs Lyndley. Mrs Perry and Mrs Pearson work with us too.

In Kimmeridge, our aim is to enjoy a happy and productive learning environment, developing open minds, positive attitudes, and high expectations of ourselves and each other. We feel it’s important to provide opportunities for children to explore, discover, create and imagine wherever possible, whilst building on the skills and knowledge they have learned in key stage one.

During their time in Kimmeridge class, children will explore a variety of wider curriculum, topics, such as The Stone Age, Rivers and Rainforests. We love Forest School and trips and we also like to welcome visitors to our class, to help extend our learning when we can.

We recognise that the transition from Key Stage one to Key Stage two can be a challenge for some children and so we all work together to help everyone to feel settled, confident and to be the best that they can be. Children support each other to remember the routines, rules, and standards we value, writing our own class charter at the beginning of the year and reviewing it during the year.

We look forward to welcoming you to our class and school community!
